Choose A Doctor of Audiology…
Helton Hearing Care, formerly Micken Hearing Services, was the first audiology practice in western Montana. The business has been family owned and operated for over 30 years, and is pleased to be a continuing hearing healthcare provider for the residents of our community. We have a state-of-the-art facility and a team of talented and dedicated professionals led by Dr. Will Helton, one of only a handful of Doctors of Audiology in the state who holds National Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA). In addition to administering in-depth, accurate and comprehensive audiological evaluations, Dr. Helton and our staff members are available five days a week to address your hearing needs and to maintain and repair your hearing aids.
Almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by hearing loss. While hearing impairment can be the result of heredity, it is also a natural result of the aging process. At Helton Hearing Care, a primary goal of our practice is to educate patients about their hearing health and their treatment options. We have helped people of all ages find out more about hearing loss, either for themselves or for a family member. If hearing tests indicate that amplification is appropriate, Dr. Helton is happy to recommend a wide range of hearing aid options that best fit your lifestyle and budget.
Dr. Helton is a clinical and dispensing audiologist who is Board certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and his Doctoral degree in Audiology at the University of North Texas. He worked in the field of audiology in private practice, industrial and hospital environments before becoming an owner of Helton Hearing Care. Dr. Helton is also licensed and certified by the State of Montana Board of Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. He is a fellow of both the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). In addition, he has obtained a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (CCC-A).
